I should never have bought

In September 1st 2005 the PlayStation Portable (PSP) was released in Europe. I was looking forward to the PSP because the PlayStation 2 was such a big hit in my eyes and a portable version of such a good console was a great prospect in my mind. On Christmas day that year I was the then proud owner of a PSP. After a few weeks of playing on it there begin to get problems such as the general on condition of the back of the PSP it had a thin plastic cover used for where the UMDs where held in became very flimsy. I was also told of stories of how my friends had dropped it and the back component had broken off and then makes the PSP useless. So this began to make this worry about carrying it in my pockets if I was to hit it on something when it was in my pocket that would a be something that cost £180 down the drain and if I was to drop it when I was playing it would it then break. The PSP was a product that was to be used in a portable way it should have been made in a more durable way and out of a stronger material. Also the plastic it was made from could be easily scratched so the condition of the PSP then looked poor. Other aspect of the PSP which was poor where the top buttons these where loose and made a clicking noise when pressed this noise became really annoying even after a few minutes of using it. So the main reason I would not buy a PSP is the screen it is large which is good but it is exposed to breaking and scratches. Screen protectors can be bought but this cost a further £4.00 on top of the £180. So if you have money to waste buy a PSP and buy other because the first one will break.

You have identified some significant design faults with the PSP, well done. A good start to the AS course.

Good review for your side of the Playstation Portable story there Frank!
It's weird, I own a PSP myself, and to be honest I don't find the problems you have stated on mine but I do think that theres something not quite right about it...

Crackin' review though mate, I can see how passionate you are about this and can only advise for you to stick to your xbox and keep on smiling :D

Cheers.
